push my fingers through

do you think about the impact of birdfeeders on bird populations? that they have a mostly positive impact, but can create ecological traps and dependency, and can lead to higher disease and mortality rates among bird species? no, you only think about yourself <3

crafty

I'm finally in college (!!!) and I can't remember being as happy as I am now. The campus is beautiful - apple trees all over the lawns, wildflowers, lakes and streams, corn fields. I can't believe that even the brutalist architecture is growing on me.

I'm in a coven now - this close knit group of friends that seems to be strong enough for only being four days old. We get all meals together and feel out the air here. It's nice to have a core group - feels like a stabilizer in all this.

graveyard & chill

last full day before college - my friend MK and i tooled around, visiting Party Depot, my old school, Stop and Shop, and a graveyard.
paid a visit to my middle school! I found notes written in sharpie on my old locker - archaeology is my passion
we left a note in the boy's bathroom urinal: "Stop being mean to teen girls 2k15"

mall goth

I went to hot topic for the first time in year and we found a Nathan's hot dog on top of a bunch of Incubus shirts. I couldn't stop laughing

I'm obsessed with the new Deerhunter video - it's like if Boo Radley started a rock band. Bradford Cox is a combo of eerie and unexpectedly endearing, and he remains one of my idols for his brazenness. People with physical disorders/mental disorders or are fat/unattractive/atypical are always supposed to hide, be humble to make up for their assault on normality. Bradford's appearance is forced to take a backseat behind his personality and art, as irrelevant as it should be to the life he's carved out for himself.
