do you think about the impact of birdfeeders on bird populations? that they have a mostly positive impact, but can create ecological traps and dependency, and can lead to higher disease and mortality rates among bird species? no, you only think about yourself <3
i love that the pov is different as you go down and up the column of photos. also i now want to read more about bird dependency because i didn't think of it that way / recently i learned of a method they use on babies so they decrease dependency on their mother's milk--they only let the kid take 5 to 10 sips of it's bottle/mother and then the kid has to rest for a while, to reduce it's depedency, acid reflux, and sickness.
ReplyDeleteit's so strange to watch the child's puzzled look and think bemusement with the bottle. it's just a mindless task that is no longer as conscious as i have this source of food that will never run out, if it does and i'm still hungry i will cry/react.
every kid i've known who gets their 'baba' taken away bawls relentlessly until it's replaced (e.g. safety blanket).--by the way hope you are well lucy!
